PTS’s Response to Covid-19: What You Need to Know

As the campus community prepares for opening this fall, PTS has implemented several practices to help keep faculty, staff and students safe and well.

New Office Hours

Starting August 31, 2020, the PTS office will be open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (closed daily from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. for cleaning/disinfecting). The office will be closed Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Customer Service is available Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., via online support form, email at info.parking@parking.gatech.edu, or phone at 404-385-7275. 

Stingerette and Fall 2020 Transit Service Changes

STINGERETTE: Beginning July 5, 2020, Stingerette service will be available from 8 PM to 3 AM, each day.  To promote social distancing, ride requests will be limited to one trip per vehicle at a time.  Wearing a mask is required when riding the Stingerette.

 

FALL 2020 TRANSIT: To help increase transit capacity on high ridership routes, the following routes will operate with 60% more service during peak times:

-Gold Route (Monday - Friday)

-Blue Route (Monday - Friday)

 

The following route will operate with a bus rather than a van to increase ridership capacity:

-NARA/TEP

 

The following routes will have extended service hours:

-Gold Route will start 30 minutes earlier at 5:15 AM (Monday - Friday)

-Blue Route will operate until 11:50 PM (Monday - Friday)

 

The following routes will not operate during the fall semester in order to increase service capacity on primary bus routes during peak times:

-Red Route

-Midnight Rambler

-Saturday and Sunday Gold Route

Construction Impact

The Tech Trolley stop at Publix – Spring Street is closed until further notice. Please use the stop at Midtown MARTA to access the Trolley on both inbound and outbound travels. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
