Citations are issued to educate Georgia Tech parking customers when vehicles are illegally or improperly parked on campus. By educating customers, PTS helps to ensure that parking spaces are available for paying permit customers. Parking Rules and Regulations are set by Georgia Tech and the State of Georgia and are enforced 24 hours daily.

Unpaid citations are subject to collections and/or Institute policies. Citations written for vehicles not found in the GT Parking Database will be traced through the Department of Motor Vehicles; owner’s addresses will be obtained for collection purposes.
For students, outstanding fines will be transferred to their Bursar’s account after 30 days. Students will be required to pay these fines via the Bursar’s office only once the transfer has been completed.
Outstanding citation fees prohibit customers from receiving parking permits for the following semester/academic year.
