Official Business Permits
Many Georgia Tech faculty and staff travel to several campus buildings daily to conduct Institute business. The Official Business permit allows employees to park in any un-gated lots for up to two (2) hours.
Department heads who have personnel using personal automobiles for making deliveries, or transporting equipment or large amounts of supplies and materials may apply annually in writing to the Parking Office for an OBP.
This permit allows the use of loading zones while loading and unloading and service vehicle spaces for up to 30 minutes, and any other unreserved, non-gated, or non-metered parking space while conducting official Institute business.
Vehicles must also display a Georgia Tech parking permit with an OBP to use official business parking privileges. Vehicles parked in excess of the 30-minute limit will be cited and are subject to impoundment.

$250 (in addition to the cost of an annual permit; available for faculty and staff only; approval required)
