A valid Georgia Tech parking permit is required to be displayed at all times to park anywhere on campus, at any time, except in visitor lots or at a paid meter.. Parking meters in residential zones (zones beginning with ER or WR) are enforced 24 hours each day. Hours of enforcement and rates are posted inside every Georgia Tech parking meter.

All permit holders are required to park in their assigned zones from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. From 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., permit holders may park in an E or W zone with a valid permit displayed.

Parking meters and ER and WR zones are enforced on a 24/7 basis. Tech Square is only accessible to non-E81 permit holders between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.\

Vehicles with permits are not allowed to park in visitors parking zones or in metered spaces.

This includes semester breaks and excludes official Institute holidays. The residential areas are restricted 24 hours a day seven days per week. Gated lots in the residential areas are for authorized access on a 24-hour basis.
