The Parking and Transportation Services office will be closed from Saturday, December 24, 2011 through Monday, January 2, 2012. The office will open on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 7:30 a.m. and resume normal business hours.

As you prepare to leave campus for the winter break, please be mindful of parking instructions for leaving vehicles on campus and the reduced transit schedule:

Parking

Parking permit customers who plan to leave their vehicles on campus during the break are welcome to park in their assigned zones. Customers can also park in ungated E or W areas, W25 (GTPD), WR29 (Woodruff parking lot), WR30 (Curran parking deck) or E52 (Peters parking deck).

Please do not leave vehicles in W23 (North parking deck) or E81 (Tech Square parking deck) if you do not have a permit for those areas.

Please be sure to remove all valuables from your vehicles, raise all windows and lock all doors for security during the break.

Normal parking regulations will resume on Tuesday, January 3, 2012.

Transit

Monday, December 19 - Friday, December 23

Trolleys and Stingers will operate on a reduced schedule. Wait times will be approximately 12 to 15 minutes at each stop. 

Stingerette will operate using its regular schedule for the entire week and end service at 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 24.

The Midnight Rambler and Emory Shuttle will operate using their regular schedules.

Saturday, December 24 – Monday, January 2

Trolleys, Stingers, Midnight Rambler, the Grocery Shuttle, the Emory Shuttle and Stingerette will not operate from December 24, 2011 through January 2, 2012. 

Tuesday, January 3 – Sunday, January 8

Trolleys will operate using its normal schedule.  All other transit modes will operate using reduced schedules.

 Full service will resume on Monday, January 9, 2012.
