For freshmen, including fall transfers and exchange students, parking permits will be sold on Day 2 of FASET at the Campus Services Resource Expo in Barnes & Noble @GT from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Incoming graduate students and students not attending FASET may purchase permits from the Parking and Transportation Office, weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. starting July 30.
**NOTE: Be sure to bring your LICENSE or BUZZCARD (will receive at orientation) and your ORIGINAL VEHICLE REGISTRATION to FASETor to the PTS office for your permit purchase after July 30.

All students, including freshmen, are allowed to bring vehicles to campus.
Parking on Georgia Tech’s campus is by permit only. (Visitors may park at pay meters or in visitors pay areas).
What Does an Annual Permit Allow?
Parking in your assigned lots at any time (except as needed for special events) NOTE: Official campus signs, maps, and markings designate authorized parking areas and spaces. Parking permit patrons must park in their designated zones only unless authorized by Parking and Transportation Services.
After-hours and weekend parking in non-residential areas (non-residential zones are marked with E or W; residential zones are marked with ER or WR). All regular permit holders may park in non-residential areas from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday and from 5:00 p.m. Friday to 8:00 a.m. Monday, excluding E45 and E81 (both must be vacated by 6:00 a.m.).
Parking for the fall, spring and summer semester (permits expire August 14 each year)
Convenient and simplified online permit registration at www.pts.gatech.edu (April 15 to June 15) to register for preferred parking zones
Annual renewal privilege for same lot
Ability to register all of your vehicles with one hangtag permit

**Vehicles with permits are not allowed to park in visitors parking zones or in metered spaces.**
How to Choose a Parking Zone and Availability Listing
Customers are allowed to choose from any available parking zone. Below are the current available parking areas for first-year students as of June 28, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.:

Annual Permit Prices
2012-2013: $690Annual parking permit fees are billed to students’ Bursar accounts. Payments for parking permit charges are subject to the same payment policies and schedule that apply to other tuition and fees.
Special Event Parking and Transit
Special campus events, such as home athletic events, have an impact on campus parking and transportation and may result in the temporary displacement of annual permit holders. Customers will be notified via email about special event parking as well as alternate parking and transportation options.
Motor vehicles also must be removed from these zones, or they will be subject to impoundment.
